Theology of Work -- Bresee Institute and Nazarene Theological Seminary have received a significant grant from the Mustard Seed Foundation for a new course called: Theology of Work. This 5 day seminar is designed to mobilize laypersons to understand their vocations in the systems of the city as transformative agents, built on a theological and Biblical basis.

The first offering of this course will be June 23 - 28, mornings & evenings.

All eligible credit and non-credit students receive scholarship reimbursement resulting in a net lab fee cost of $200 for credit students & $100 for non-credit students.

Bresee receives a new contract with the Department of Justice for continuing the Life Connections program.
In competitive bidding Bresee enters into its fourth year of ministry and discipleship at Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, which our commitment hours expanded 50% to 30 hours a week. We have hired Ken Niles to direct this program which involves seasoned mentors and seminarians in training to learn and exercise prison ministry gifts.

Bakke Grad School enjoys apartnership with Bresee
The Bakke Graduate University of Ministry is currently engaged in discussions with Bresee Institute about the possibilities of a partnership between the two training bodies. Bresee Institute could be a feeder into the doctoral programs that are offered, perhaps with joint sponsorship. We have been approached by BGU about organizing Latin American initiatives that would expand their reach and ours into Central and South America. The academic dean, Ray Bakke, is the premier strategist and consultant for urban ministry worldwide, a noted speaker and writer, and this partnership would lend great credibility to our institutional influence.
